Sue Townsend

   Susan Lillian "Sue" Townsend is an English novelist who is known by the books of Adrian Mole. She was born in Leicester, the 2 of April 1964. His father was a postman and she was the oldest of five sisters. Sue learnt to read when was eight years old and later, started to write for a magazine. She left school at the age of 15 and worked in a variety of jobs including factory worker and shop assistant. She married a metal worker and they had four children: Daniel, Victoria, Elisabeth and Sean, who donated a kidney for her.

  • The woman who went to bed for a year (2012), an other important novel.
