Most of the people can read books but not all know how to surf on the Internet. So...do we learn more from computers or from books?
In my opinion, when someone reads a book learns new vocabulary, grammar, other cultures or traditions, important events that have happened throughout the time... For example, 'Operación Beowulf ' is an history book which teaches you information about The second world war.
I personally think that if you search something on the Internet, it could give you the information wrong. Although it's clear that find it there is faster than find it in a magazine, newspaper...
In conclusion, i believe that people can learn more from books. Also, when you read something which has an history, you remember it better than if you read the same in a few minutes.

'Studying traditional degrees like philosophy and history is a waste of time and money'
Many people prefer to study biology or medicine before than history or philosophy. However, i am sure that studies can give you a well-paid career if you've strained enough.
In my opinion, studying these traditional degrees is not necessary a waste of time. After the degree, you know many of the famous events that have happened throughout the time and you can work as teacher, collaborator in the TV or radio and other different jobs. However, it is clear that study other degrees like medicine, engineering or architecture can give you more variety of careers.
Futhermore, i believe that you should study something you like, in spite of earn more or less money, so any degree is a waste of time if you interest in the subjects and the things you're going to learn.
In conclusion, i disagree with the topic. I don't think there are bad or good degrees or studies. All of them can be fantastic for someone!

My personal opinion about the book.
The book is about a diary of a teenager, Adrian Mole, where he describes his feelings and the things what happened to him.
In my opinion, the main character (Adrian), is an immature boy who always says stupid things about his life. However, often is a bit more mature being as he has learnt to be an one-parent child. In addition, he has fallen in love in spite of have some troubles with his girlfriend, Pandora.
